If you’re looking for a wedding that is the epitome of Southern California, look no farther than Maureen + David’s colorful, fiesta-vibed day! Maureen + David currently live in Austin but traveled back to Maureen's hometown for their wedding and wanted to pay tribute to Ventura. They held their ceremony at one of the original California missions, San Buenaventura, a beautiful historical place filled with incredible statues and colorful tiles. The vibrant hues were reflected in the bridal party, who wore blue suits and floral dresses, complementing the bride’s lovely boho lace BHLDN dress.
The fiesta continued at another historical spot, Olivias Adobe, where guests feasted on hamburgers catered by a food truck from The Habit, a burger place even more Californian than In'n'Out. [I'm willing to arm wrestle it out if you'd like to dispute this.] Another unique touch was the wedding cake piñata hanging from a tree! To open up the dance floor, Maureen surprised David by singing "You are the Best Thing" by Ray LaMontagne accompanied by a Academy, a kicking live band. Maureen + David then danced the night away with their family and friends under twinkly lights as the stars came out. Congratulations to an incredible couple!
